Susan, our licensed nutritionist will be de-mystifying some common misconceptions and concerns about the plant-based lifestyle, de-bunking the myths of the high-protein diets and showing you lots of simple and delicious ways to get more plant protein into your daily routine, while boosting your immune system, losing weight and generally improving your health.
TCK’s nutrition workshops are a great way to discover a variety of creative and seasonal vegan recipes. As always, the menu is gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free and boosted with health-promoting super foods. It’s a chance to enjoy a lively social gathering, share a healthy meal together and get informed on a variety of nutrition issues - all at the same time.
Lunch is served from 12:30 to 1:30, in case anyone needs to dash off back to work. But there’s always plenty of time afterwards for chatting and superfood shopping.
