Rue Oberkampf is pure ecstasy - "must be seen live", writes among others the RCN magazine. The band combines the coldness and pop of wave with the structure and hardness of EBM and dark techno. After the self-release of an Absolute Body Control cover, the first own songs "Congélation" and "Caméra" also quickly developed into underground floor fillers in 2017. Since "Christophe-Philippe", the band's first long-player, Rue Oberkampf is now reaching audiences at the intersection of dark indie, fashion, urban aesthetics, and electronic music.
