Located in southeast Wisconsin, Indian Trail High School and Academy is a public high school in the Kenosha Unified School District. The Indian Trail High School and Academy Choral program services nearly 350 students annually. With six sections of curricular choirs and two extra curricular choirs, the program endures an intense performance schedule throughout the school year. While the choirs at Indian Trail hold four scheduled concerts, the choirs are invited to sing along side collegiate choirs in major works such as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart’s Requiem, Schubert’s Mass in G, Faure’s Requiem, Rutter’s Mass of the Children as well as other numerous works. The choirs are also asked to perform at major community events and gatherings. The top selected Women’s Choir was selected to perform the Wisconsin Choral Directors’ Association conference and tour annually across the United States and Europe. Their repertoire spans many genres including contemporary choral works and ethnic music as well as Classical, Baroque, Romantic, and music of the Renaissance.
