Our last event of the year – for Members only – will be a feast of music by George Gershwin, probably America’s greatest composer.

At its 4 PM matinee, the Nice Philharmonic will play Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, Concerto in F, Rhapsody in Blue, and An American in Paris. As his brother Ira Gershwin wrote: Who could ask for anything more?!

The concert will be preceded by a lunch at Le Grand Balcon restaurant, which so many of us enjoyed in April 2016.

Prices: Lunch only €35; Concert Ticket €27 (to be handed out by Jeanette during lunch); Lunch and concert ticket €62. We are not offering the concert alone.

We need to receive your reservation payment no later than THURSDAY NOVEMBER 30th UNLESS SOLD OUT BEFORE. Cancellations past this date are subject to payment. Please note that our recent events have been sold out before the final booking date, so please book quickly. Without payment your reservation cannot be confirmed. There will be no payments accepted on the day. When booking, please indicate your menu choices.
