Lenny Kravitz has been the recipient of many award wins during his musical career. This includes four Grammy Awards, won consecutively from 1999 to 2002. He holds the record for the highest number of Best Male Rock Vocal Performance wins. He has also picked up a BRIT Award in 1994 for Best International Male, an MTV Video Music Award in 1993, a 2002 American Music Award and two awards in 2001 at the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards and the My VH1 Music Awards. He features at number 14 on VH1's list of the Top 100 Sexiest Artists and at number 93 on their list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Stars.
As well as being a world class musician and singer, Lenny Kravitz has also carved out an acting career. He has starred in a number of major productions, including Precious, The Hunger Games and The Butler. In 2002 he starred in an episode of The Simpsons, alongside a number of other musical acts.
