Frédéric Borey - sax ; Paco Andreo - trombone ; Stéphane Adsuar - batterie ; François Bernat - c.basse, composition Après un premier quartet autour de la musique de Miles Davis, qui donnera naissance à un disque très bien critiqué, j'éprouve le besoin de continuer mon parcours autour de ce nouveau projet: Un quartet sans instrument harmonique, avec Frédéric Borey (sax), Paco Andreo (trb), et Stéphane Adsuar (batt), dont le répertoire est exclusivement composé de compositions personnelles. Une formation qui laisse la possibilité de créer des espaces musicaux ouverts, qui parfois cèdent à des improvisations collectives plus intenses, et une écriture mélodique à deux voix, qui m'a toujours intéressé en terme de composition. After a first quartet around the music of Miles Davis, which will give birth to a very well reviewed album, I feel the need to continue my journey around this new project: A quartet without harmonic instrument, with Frédéric Borey (sax), Paco Andreo (trb), and Stéphane Adsuar (batt), whose repertoire is exclusively composed of personal compositions. A formation that leaves the possibility of creating open musical spaces, which sometimes give way to more intense collective improvisations, and a melodic writing for two voices, which has always interested me in terms of composition.
