Après un disque consacré à Gershwin, paru en 2016, Jean-Marc Foltz et Stéphan Oliva fêtent aujourd'hui le vingtième anniversaire de leur duo en peignant le portrait d'une autre figure éminente : Duke Ellington. Par une suite de morceaux choisis, les deux complices évoquent l'univers de ce compositeur et orchestrateur de génie, dont la palette de couleurs se reflète ici avec tendresse dans l'expression des timbres de la clarinette et du piano. Le nouvel album: INDIGO, paraîtra le 25 février 2022 sur le label Vision Fugitive. After a record dedicated to Gershwin, released in 2016, Jean-Marc Foltz and Stéphan Oliva today celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their duo by painting the portrait of another eminent figure: Duke Ellington. Through a series of selected pieces, the two accomplices evoke the universe of this genius composer and orchestrator, whose palette of colors is tenderly reflected here in the expression of the timbres of the clarinet and the piano. The new album: INDIGO, will be released on February 25, 2022 on the Vision Fugitive label.
