“The concept of One Week Records began with the idea that it would be nice to record and publish the early stages of recordings (Demo recordings) that I have heard over the years. I always loved the raw sound of those recordings and the original incarnation of the songs that are captured in them. They often have an audible inspired sound that is somewhat lost in the later, more polished recordings of the songs. I have a home studio and realized a weeks time was enough time to record the songs but, not enough time to over analyze or over produce the songs and recordings. It has evolved since the beginning and become a labor of love that other people seem to respond to.
The One Week Records tours are simply a nice way to get some of my favorite people that have made One Week Records together for a holiday. I love these tours and especially love playing along side with these people on some of their songs and mine. It’s always a lot of fun. More of an party then a gig. I’m really looking forward to the shows with Brian Wahlstrom, Zach Quinn and Donald Spence. All of them made incredible One Week Records and all of them are dear friends of mine now. I love their music and look forward to bringing it and them to others. I think the show is going to be great”
