The Contest is open to all bottling and distributing spring water organizations, approved by the competent local authorities.
Award ceremony will take place in Paris on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018 during the World Water Day
- The AVPA jury is composed of francophone professionals in the sector (bottlers, distributors and scientists) chefs, gastronomes and connoisseurs.
- The Technical Committee organizes homogeneous groups of water in six basic categories: three for still waters and three for natural or gasified waters.
- In each of the six categories the Jury defines sub-categories per tastes families and then deliberates sovereignly to determine the distinctions awarded to the competitors.
- Initially the Jury selects spring waters that can receive the qualification "Product Gourmet AVPA 2018", and then, will give awards to the best waters in each category, awarding one of the three trophies:
Gourmet d’Or (Gold Gourmet), Gourmet d’Argent (Silver Gourmet) or Gourmet de Bronze (Bronze Gourmet).
- The Jury reserves the right to award any distinction that will appear appropriate to waters or to operators who deserve it.
