Africa Now Sunday Celebration - Galeries Lafayette

This Sunday, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann celebrates the launch of Africa Now! Enjoy food trucks, animations and the star of the show, a colorful parade winding through the historic store.

Bubbling with vibrant depictions, this festive march celebrates the continent’s energy, its ancient roots as well as its most contemporary expressions. In Africa, you don’t walk. You don’t march. You parade!

Proud posturing, movements to sculpt the outfits, rhythm that slips between your feet, the joy of being on show together…for a whole hour, this is the spirit you’ll be plunged into by the Africa Now Parade!

Depicting 6 exclusive scenes, over one hundred participants, styled by Amag Ayivi for Le Marché Noir and made-up by Nadeen Mateky with Bumble & Bumble and M·A⋅C, will roam around the floors of the Haussmann store.
