Ces deux musiciens français, reconnus au plus haut niveau de la scène nationale, entretiennent une grande complicité depuis de nombreuses années au sein, entre autres, du groupe Charlier/Sourisse. Sourisse et Perchaud apprécient particulièrement la formule si singulière, si audacieuse qu'est le duo piano/guitare et qui n’est pas sans rappeler le fameux duo Bill Evans/Jim Hall.
