Avec son complice, le prodigieux pianiste brésilien Léo Montana, c’est l’héritage Africain du jazz qu’il transcende. De Miles à Monk, Mokhtar Samba & The African Messengers, son nouveau collectif, revisitent le répertoire des standards de jazz version Afrobeat où se mêlent groove envoûtant et arrangements subtils.
