TAPIR! (22h30) (Art pop - Londres, UK) London-based 5-piece band Tapir! get ready to release ‘Act 1’ of their forthcoming debut multidisciplinary narrative album ‘The Pilgrim, Their God and The King of My Decrepit Mountain.’ Drawing inspiration from the likes of Harry Nilsson, Richard Dawson, Little Wings and Spellling, Tapir!’s album tells the story of 'Pilgrim', a creature embarking on an adventure through a fictional universe made up of green hills and mysterious red beings, unearthing its history and meeting all sorts of other characters along the way. Tapir! intend to immerse listeners over time, releasing ‘Act 1 (The Pilgrim)’ as the first of 3 episodic EP’s, before compiling them into the complete album in early 2023. The band will supplement their release schedule with live shows, short films and paintings in order to help create and expand the project’s narrative universe in which the album is set.
