VISTAS (22h30) (Indie rock - Édimbourg, UK) Scottish band Vistas consists of vocalist Prentice Robertson, guitarist Dylan Rush and bassist Jamie Law-they’ve made their name gigging tirelessly across the UK, with word of mouth praise of their chaotic, life-affirming show travelling far and wide. Backed up by a host of bright, anthemic singles including ‘Retrospect’, ‘Calm’ and ‘Tigerblood’ and racking up over 100 million plays for songs released in the last three years, they have been garnering support from the likes of Jack Saunders, Clara Amfo and Huw Stephens at Radio 1. After two critically acclaimed Top 40 albums, the band have certified their status as one of the most promising indie bands in the UK. Comme sortie d’un cabinet de curiosités, leur musique tend à multiplier les directions sonores et dérégler les boussoles stylistiques en alliant rythmes asymétriques, fragments de musique concrète, chant en plusieurs langues et écriture pop. Evoluant entre la Normandie et la Région Parisienne Charles, Lucas et Nicklaus se croisent depuis longtemps dans de nombreux projets. Ils décident de créer le groupe début 2020. Malgré le confinement lié à l'épidémie de Covid-19, ils parviennent en travaillant à distance et à composer la musique de ce qui sera bientôt leur premier album qui paraîtra en 2024. Le titre de ce dernier "Hic Sunt Leones" ("ici sont les lions" en latin) reprend la mention que la cartographie médiévale utilisait pour indiquer des zones non explorées, où il était alors possible de fantasmer le merveilleux.
