Avec « Toute la beauté du monde », la Fondation d’entreprise Hermès poursuit son soutien à la création contemporaine. L’artiste strasbourgeoise Léa Barbazanges présente dans l’espace d’exposition de La Grande Place, musée Saint-Louis, une quinzaine d’œuvres récentes confectionnées à partir de matières et de textures végétales, minérales et animales.
Pensée comme une expérience à la fois visuelle et sensorielle, cette exposition sous le commissariat d’Estelle Pietrzyk, conservatrice en chef du Patrimoine au Musée d’Art moderne et contemporain de Strasbourg (MAMCS), s’adresse autant à l’œil qu’au désir de toucher. Polymorphe, elle se lit comme un instantané du travail de Léa Barbazanges, où s’entrelacent les différents règnes du vivant. Jouant des variations entre le vide et le plein, le visible et l’imperceptible, l’artiste compose des œuvres qui invitent à ralentir le regard et à prêter attention à ce qui échappe habituellement à la perception.
