Eight centuries of history and a most unique architectural heritage can be observed at the Couvent des Jacobins in Toulouse. From the 13th century until the Revolutionary period, the monument experienced several transformations, which will be detailed during the tour. Built in 1229, the monastery is an exceptional testimony to southern gothic design. This brick architecture uses the same principles developed for the cathedrals of the Kingdom of France.
