It's Thursday, June 13th 2013, when the band meets at a neutral place, somewhere in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, close to 6pm. Time to take stock - what have Kissin' Dynamite achived so far and where are they heading with album no. 4?
Time travel: a blast in the past
Once, it only was the dream of five teenagers to found a band and together conquer the world. Since then, quite a bit has happened: With Steel of Swabia (2008), Addicted to Metal (2010) and Money, Sex & Power (2012), Kissin' Dynamite has released 3 LPs internationally, was represented in the Media Control Charts, played over 500 liveshows all over Europe and Asia and has had several TV-appearances. At the time of their debut Steel of Swabia, the bandmembers were no more than 15-16 years old. Their current standing is the result of plenty of hard work: Kissin' Dynamite have earned a recognition which goes beyond borders, convincing with their energetic, thrilling performances .
This energy isn’t there just by chance, it’s because Kissin' Dynamite is more than just a band – it’s an attitude to life! This attitude has kept the five musicans together ever since they began and keeps them going on and on to live their dream. Every day.
Heading for new shores:
On that particular thursday, there was something special in the air and the band all knew: now the time has come for something new! The time has come to leave old things behind and to open the next chapter in their career. The time has come to let go, to be open-minded and to make room for something that couldn't have been stopped anyway. With this mindset the musicans barricaded themselves into their studio in Flensburg for a few weeks, in order to write new songs. They have never been this confident and they know: The time has come for Megalomania.
Megalomania: This means Kissin' Dynamite in it's pure form: straight, true, unstoppable. With their fourth album, the band has arrived in 2014 and is going for it more than ever. In fall 2014, Kissin' Dynamite goes on headlinertour. Then it's time for: Megalomania Over Europe!
The madness carries on. It has only just begun...
