If it comes to passion and devotion to deep underground house music, Thierry Loesch aka. Riven is known to be one of those Artists that spreads dark grooves through every venue he spins the decks at.
His career started back in the early 2000 ́s when he started mixing on his grandfather’s old turntables. He quickly got recognized in Luxembourg’s nightlife scene and has been spinning the decks at local clubs and bars almost every weekend since 2008.

In 2013, he decided to take his career a step further and over the borders. Together with his friend Pierre Bellion he founded “Lauter Unfug”, a Music Label which quickly became one of the most proliferating Underground Music Labels in Luxembourg, hosting many international artists from all over the world.

His residency at the Lauter Unfug events has not left his music unnoticed and lead to gigs at clubs like Kosmonaut, Trésor, Ritter Butzke in Berlin, Silodom in Saarbrücken and festivals like the Amsterdam Dance Event, Amphitronic and Nature One and e-lake.

As a producer, Riven enjoys international recognition for his music which is played by many all around the globe. In 2016, his EP “Acid Break”, which includes remixes by Timid Boy and the legendary house icon Tyree Cooper has hit the Beatport Top 10 Charts. His raw style has hit the nerve of time and his career has been rocketing ever since.

In 2016 and in 2017, he has been voted “Best Electronic Music DJ” by Luxembourg’s main nightlife awards, two years in a row, and with his work for Lauter Unfug, he has been changing the nightlife scene of an entire country, making the small duchy a spot on the map of House and Techno.

Riven has often been referred to as being a DJ that can take over the crowd with his dark hypnotic synth and bass lines at peak time as well as at the after-party throughout the entire night and longer.
