⚡️SAUL ADAMCZSEWSKI Fat White Family / Insecure Men and much more⚡️ ( London UK-Indie Pop) Saul a fondé, encore mineur, un groupe indie/punk appelé "The Metros", qui a eu beaucoup de succès auprès des critiques et du public, mais ils se sont séparés en 2009. En 2011, un tremblement de terre a secoué la scène musicale endormie de l'époque : Saul a fondé avec les frères Lias et Nathan Saoudi, "Fat White Family", qui plus tard en 2013 a fait ses débuts avec un album qui a renversé la vapeur : "Champagne Holocaust". Dès lors, Fat White Family entame une incessante opération nihiliste de profanation/destruction de la « respectabilité transgressive » politiquement correcte, qui ne cesse de se répandre dans la scène musicale underground britannique et au-delà. Et Saul lui-même s'est immédiatement démarqué comme l'élément le plus intransigeant, mystérieux, iconoclaste, destructeur (et autodestructeur) du groupe. Entre-temps, Saul a commencé à être moins présent lors des concerts et a été remplacé par d'autres musiciens. La même chose se produit lorsque le groupe est interviewé : à un moment donné, il a cessé de donner des interviews, laissant le soin à Lias (le chanteur principal). En 2018, il a surpris tout le monde en créant un groupe avec un son complètement différent de "FWF". A mon sens le choix du nom est génial : "Insicure Man". L'album reflète probablement, au moins en partie, le côté poétique et délicat le plus fragile de Saul. Et poétiques et fragiles sont les pièces de l'album du même nom, qui sont, plus ou moins, des ballades éthérées et rêveuses aux paroles grotesques, surréalistes, provocantes et déchirantes. Maintenant, Saul a son premier disque solo prêt. Un bijou merveilleux dont j'ai eu la chance d'avoir un aperçu et qui, je le souhaite vraiment, sortira bientôt. C'est un album avec, parfois, un son fantomatique et, parfois, d'une douceur et d'une brutalité presque désarmantes. Their eclectic sound has come to be defined by their skronky, sometimes intangible riffs and rhythms that seem constantly on the verge of collapse. Despite this, No Teeth provide an effervescent display and are notorious for their unhinged live performances that are, at times, very unpredictable. The band have been together since 2018, have played extensively across the North East and the UK and are embarking on another UK tour in August 2023. David Hall 2023 Since forming the group have released several singles and EPs, most notably a single in 2020 entitled “1930’s Graphic Design Menopause” and an EP last year entitled “The New Nuisance”. These releases combined with the reputation of their stage performance has gained them a dedicated following in the North East and more recently, further afield.
