En 2027, le musée Cernuschi exposera sa collection de photographies pour la première fois. En une soixantaine d’œuvres, et dix auteurs, l’exposition sera un panorama des photographies réalisés dans différents pays d’Asie par des voyageurs occidentaux (Chine, Corée, Inde, Indonésie, Japon, Mongolie, Sri Lanka).
En contrepoint, figurent également dans l’exposition des photographies d’artistes asiatiques témoignant de leur regard sur leur propre patrimoine et de leur vision de la France.
